J-FORCE Children's Ministry
Check-In Procedure
Visitors: All visitors need to check in at the Children's Check-In Center where you and your child will receive a visitor tag. Parent tag is required in exchange for your child's release at pick up time.
Regular Attendees: All children who have completed a registration form are considered regular attendees. Parent and child will pick up your tags at the "tag board" near the entrance to the upstairs of the Children's Center. Parent tag is required in exchange for your child's release at pick up time.
2009/2010 Registration...
Please register each child at the Children's Check-In Center to receive your child's tags. Name tags are required to enter secure areas.
“Loving and leading God’s children to a personal relationship with Jesus.” We will uphold our mission by providing them with loving shepherds who have a passion for Jesus, and; through our biblical and creative activities and programs, we will build a delight in God’s Word, fulfill their hunger to learn the Word and give them a passion to share it with others!

6:30 - 8 pm
1st-5th graders Friends! Music! Games! Gym Time! Wacky Activities! What more could you ask for? We'll send them home tired!
"All Star CAMP"
Free Child Care for infants/toddlers.
Preschool and Kindergarten will have fun (wait ‘til you see pajama time).

2009/2010 J-FORCE EVENTS...
Kids' Arts Kamp... June 21 - 24, 9:00 - 12:30
3rd Grade Bible Presentation... October, 2010. Families are encourage to participate. Come at 10:30 and stay for the morning activities.
Advent Fair... November 21, 2010... A family affair where kids can help decorate the children's wing. Everyone has fun eating, decorating and meeting new people.
Drop, Shop & Relax - Holiday Respite Care...2010 date to be determined..Parents drop off your infant through 5th graders with us and have a night to shop, dine, or just plain old quiet time before the holidays. Free but must be pre-registered.
Christmas Eve Family & Children’s Service... December 24, 2010... An interactive service for the kids where you can come and dress up as as an angel, sheep, shepherd, wise man, Mary or Joseph. A great way to celebrate Jesus' birthday! Birthday treats and costumes provided.
Kids' Offering Envelopes Available! -Pick up your box at the banana table on the 2nd floor!
J-FORCE CONNECTION OPPORTUNITIES...
The Trinity UMC Children’s Ministries Team (CMT) would like to announce some exciting opportunities with children’s ministries in which you can participate! Training events will be programmed to fit your schedule:
--wear “J-Force Security” ID tags,
--greet children in the children’s wing at the bottom of the steps, at the top of the steps, at
the west entrance or at the south entrance,
--build relationships with kids and their families
†Administrative Assistants (2 – 4):
–update CMT news on our web page,
--manage attendance records,
--track birthdays,
--assist with mailings, newsletter, marketing and publicity,
--phone callers,
--PowerPoint presentation creators.
†Technical Leader/supervisor – Help with training and supervising middle school technical (sound, DVD) assistants;
†Classroom assistants – Teacher’s aides (High school and up)
†Snack Team – provide healthy mid-morning (not a meal) snacks
†Supply/Craft room supervisors
– sort and catalog contents and maintain supply amounts,
--keep order in supply room.
†Song and Scripture Illustrators – to illustrate songs and scripture verses – patterns provided (Scrapbookers welcome!)
†Counselors for Wednesday evening Kids’ Kamp –be responsible high school students or older;
†Music and/or Dance Team:
--help with musical and children’s choir,
--perhaps lead/teach choreography;
†Materials and Equipment Team
– make small beanbags, blindfolds, rhythm instruments;
--repair and display work;
†Builders Team
– sets for stage ‘furniture’ of carpeted platforms,
--arrange “lounge” seating in large room,
--miscellaneous repair work.
