Discipleship Ministries

According to our Mission statement we are to:

Gather with others…Grow in faith…Go out in service…

Here at Trinity we believe that intentional studying of the Scriptures is critical to building up a workable and credible faith.  We have developed classes that we believe help us to learn how to abide in Christ and to grow (or mature) in our faith.

It is our prayer that you will join us on this journey in developing our faith and growing Biblically.  We look forward to growing together into full maturity in Christ.

All of our classes, courses and seminars are based in scripture, bathed in prayer and taught by those who love Jesus and the local church.  They are intended to help us keep growing in Christ.

All are challenged to continue in our growth by finishing all of the courses on the Basic Path and then go on to the Advanced Path.  Once we all complete the Basic and Advanced paths, we all need to keep sharp by taking at least one in-depth Bible study annually and also be involved in a small group so we can all continue to "build up a workable and credible faith."

This is the intent of our Discipleship area.  To facilitate this process of 'Growing in Faith,’ Trinity groups (of all magnitudes and missions) offter the following

            •       Children Ministries

                  Student Ministries

•       Core Classes

       Adult Ministries

These five avenues are described in detail below.

The following classes are offered periodically.  Look for current offererings in the Upcoming Events Publication.

Vital Beginnings...

This course offers an overview of the very basics of the Christian faith. It covers topics such as: Who is God? What is the Trinity? What is the Bible? What is prayer?

Bible 101...

This class is primarily to help those who are wanting to learn more about the Bible than Vital Beginnings offers.

Vital Christianity...

This course helps us take our “next steps” in understanding our Christian faith. It is divided into three parts: Life in Christ; Life in the Spirit and Life in Community.

Living Life In Community...

This course is one of the “next steps” coming out of Vital Christianity. It helps us to understand why Christianity is also not a “lone ranger” religion but a dynamic faith lived in community. It talks about why we highly recommend getting connected to a home group or smaller class for further Christian growth and accountability.

Prayer Is …

This class is intended to help us understand as well as exercise our “prayer” muscles

Experiencing God...

This course is intended to help us be more aware of sensing God’s presence and work in our lives.

Contagious Christian (with Evangelism Ministries)...

This course helps us all to learn to share our faith-story with others as we learn to reach out to those who do not yet believe.

Good Sense Stewardship...

This course is designed to teach us about God’s economy. It is biblically based and helps us learn why we need to avoid unsecured debt and understand the whys and hows to tithe or have a plan for tithing.  It is intended to teach us all what GOD’s Word has to say about money, debt, and the biblical use of our resources.  If you do have problems with money, there are counselors we can recommend or we can refer to you other Christian agencies who will help you.

Serving Jesus’ Way...

This seminar is intended to give us tools to serve others better. It covers such topics as Jesus’ style of leadership, influence/integrity, failing forward, conflict resolution, basic shepherding skills.
